The main function of the pressure relief valve is to ensure the safety of the transformer: 

Prevent the oil tank from bursting: by timely releasing overpressure, prevent the oil tank from deforming or bursting due to sudden increase in internal pressure, and reduce the risk of explosion. 

Maintain a sealed environment: After the valve automatically closes, the fuel tank maintains a positive pressure state, effectively blocking the entry of external air, moisture, and impurities, and preventing the deterioration of the insulation oil. 

Fault indication function: Some models are equipped with mechanical marker poles or signal switches, which trigger alarms when activated (such as the marker pole extending out of the top cover), making it easy for operation and maintenance personnel to quickly locate faults.
