Silicon steel (also known as electrical steel) is the core magnetic material for power equipment such as transformers and motors,



Through special rolling and annealing processes, the grains in the steel are highly oriented along the rolling direction, and its low iron loss and high magnetic permeability directly determine the energy efficiency and operational stability of the transformer.



According to the level of iron loss, it can be divided into ordinary oriented electrical steel and high magnetic induction oriented electrical steel.



The surface is usually coated with inorganic insulation coating, which can prevent eddy current losses caused by short circuits between laminates and improve corrosion resistance
