The pressure relief valve (also known as the pressure relief valve or safety explosion-proof valve) of oil-immersed transformers is an essential core safety protection device for oil-immersed transformers. Its function is to quickly open when an internal fault generates a sudden high voltage, preventing the oil tank from exploding or bursting, and protecting the safety of equipment and personnel. 1. Core function: Prevent fuel tank burst: In the event of an internal short circuit or arc fault, the insulating oil vaporizes instantly, causing a sharp increase in pressure, and the valve opens rapidly to release the oil vapor. Automatic seal reset: It automatically closes when the pressure drops, keeping the fuel tank sealed and preventing moisture and oil leakage. Fault signal output: Electrical alarm signals (contact signals) are simultaneously emitted during operation.
