This “perceptive” bushing captures real-time changes in internal oil pressure, dielectric loss, and capacitance, and transmits health indices directly to the master station system via edge computing gateways. This signifies a fundamental shift in maintenance strategy from “scheduled outage maintenance” to “predictive condition-based maintenance.” For the digital retrofitting of aging substations, such an intelligent upgrade — without altering the main structure — offers compelling advantages in both cost-effectiveness and safety.

II. Deep Application of Green Manufacturing and Eco-Friendly Materials

Under the “dual carbon” goals, environmental protection is no longer just a requirement for power system operation; it now runs through every step of equipment manufacturing. Specifically, to address the complex operating environments of countries along the Belt and Road Initiative, domestic companies have launched special creepage distance designs resistant to high temperatures and windblown sand. For example, a recent batch of 63 kV oil-impregnated paper condenser bushings delivered to the Middle East employed an optimized shed profile design, effectively tackling the challenges of extreme temperature differences and sand accumulation in desert regions. This represents not just the export of products, but the export of Chinese power equipment technical standards and service systems. Well-established localized warehousing and after-sales response mechanisms are becoming a critical weapon for Chinese enterprises seeking breakthroughs in overseas incremental markets.

IV. Future Outlook: From Equipment Manufacturer to System Service Provider

Looking ahead to the second half of 2026, a business model based purely on product sales will be difficult to sustain. Industry pioneers are building an ecosystem of “Bushing + Sensors + Cloud-Based Diagnostic Platform.” Using digital twin technology, a high-fidelity model can even be created in virtual space before the bushing leaves the factory, providing customers with performance degradation predictions and remaining life assessments once the equipment is put into service.
