1. The role played by the transformer core in the transformer:

In the transformer plays the role of communicating the magnetic field and conducting the magnetic field. There is no transformer without iron core. According to the principle of electromagnetic induction, through the transformer input voltage coil and output voltage coil changes, play the role of boosting or bucking to regulate the voltage.
